The library and tools stay free. Paid work is quoted from a statement of work, in the same bands we ask for on the proposal form — so you can see the order of magnitude before you talk to us.
How we price
Four bands, one rule
We do not sell hours into a blur. You get a written scope: what we will produce, who will do it, when it is due, and what is out of scope. The bands below match the budget choices on our contact form. They are indicative, not a public tariff — a two-week safety-case review and a six-month retained advisory are not the same fee even if they share a band.

What a quote is based on
- The decision you need to make — a procurement panel, a GMC exam, a board, a DPIA. We price the artefact that changes that decision, not a generic “consulting day.”
- Who must sign it — work that carries clinical weight is reviewed under clinical direction. That is in the fee; it is not an extra.
- How much of the evidence already exists — a current DCB0129 case is a different job from a product that has never had a hazard log.
What we will not do
- Quote a clinical validation without reading the intended use.
- Take equity in a product we are asked to evaluate independently.
- Charge for the public calculators or Health A–Z. Those stay free.

Fees — questions people actually ask
Why do you not list a single price?
Because a two-hour tutoring block and a DCB0129 safety case are not the same job. We price from a written scope: deliverables, who does the work, and when it is due. The bands on this page are so you can see the order of magnitude before you enquire.
Are the calculators and health guides really free?
Yes. The clinical calculators, medicine and condition guides, and the rest of the Health A–Z are free to use. They are education and reference, not a paid product and not a diagnosis.
Do you take equity instead of fees?
No. Advisory and validation work is fee-based. An evaluator with a stake in the product is not independent, and health-system buyers treat it that way.
What do I get before I pay?
A short scoping conversation and a written statement of work. If we are not the right fit, we say so then — not after a long unpaid discovery.
Are these UK pounds?
Yes. Figures are in GBP, exclusive of VAT where VAT applies. International work is quoted in the same bands unless we agree otherwise in the statement of work.
Can NHS or university procurement use a purchase order?
Yes. Tell us the route, the deadline and any framework or standing-financial-instruction constraint on the proposal form so we can route it as a procurement enquiry, not a generic sales lead.
